PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) is the world's largest diver training organisation. Using highly effective instructional methods, PADI courses enable students to learn quickly and effectively.
Emphasis is placed on continuing diver education, encouraging safety and environmental awareness.
SOUTHERN ECO-VILLAGES
For the more adventurous we offer training courses from our Dive Village at Marsa Shagra. CMAS and PADI Master Scuba Instructor Hesham Kamel leads the courses with his dedicated team, which run throughout the year. Marsa Shagra has classroom facilities, plus a fantastic house reef directly in front with a shallow bottom, which is ideal for Confined Open Water exercises and practicing buoyancy skills. Upon completing your course you have an unlimited dive package, which gives you the opportunity to have more dives and therefore gain more experience than on a standard resort tour.
For those completing their Open Water Course, you will need to purchase the PADI Crewpack prior to your course. This includes a PADI manual, log book, dive planner with instructions and a student record file which enable you to study beforehand and give you the advantage of being prepared for your course. The cost of this is £45 including P&P.
Courses include equipment (except for the Divemaster courses) and the use of all materials required for the course. A 30 Euro fee is payable to PADI upon completing certification courses. PADI courses are added to the ‘Non-diver’ tour costs for Sharks Bay & for Marsa Shagra Southern Dive Village.
