Climate And Clothing

In Phuket clothing is informal. Loose fitting clothes are the best for Thailand’s climate, which is tropical with a high degree of humidity. The ‘cool’ season is November to February, ‘hot’ season is March to May and the ‘monsoon season’ when we don’t dive is June to October. The average air and water temperature is 28 degrees. In the cool season we recommend a 3mm or 5mm wetsuit and in the hot season a lycra or 3mm suit.
